A 5K Fun Run/Walk at Cody Park Saturday, September 8, 2012
The Doggie Dash is a new event for this year's Puppy Olympics. Doggie Dash is a 5K family-friendly fundraiser to benefit Community Connections Mentoring. Even if you don't have a dog, register anyway! You're still invited to join in the fun. As a race participant, you are not required to participate in the other Puppy Olympics events, although you are certainly welcome.
You can run/walk as many laps as you like (one lap minimum). Contestants will have one hour to complete the race. Those who run/walk the entire 5K (three laps) will be entered into a drawing for door prizes.
The first 50 racers who register will receive a very special DOGGIE BAG filled with goodies for both dog and participant.
Race day fees: $25/adult, $20/youth and $55/family.
Registration begins at 8:15 a.m. on Saturday, September 8, with the Doggie Dash starting at 9 a.m. at the Cody Park Pool. There will be no rain delay.
